Nombreux, parmi les auteurs que la postérité allait considérer comme grands écrivains et philosophes, furent ceux qui prirent position sur cette révolution, conscients tous que se jouait là non seulement un événement majeur de l’histoire nationale, mais aussi une entrée dans l’histoire moderne. Ce livre vise à retracer les prises de position différentes de quelques observateurs les plus connus de l’époque : Marie d’Agoult, Balzac, Louis Blanc, Comte, Victor Cousin, Flaubert, Herzen, Lamartine, Marx, Michelet, Raspail et Lorenz von Stein. The revolution of 1848 in France marked a turning point for the contemporaries who lived through it. Many of the authors whom posterity was to regard as great writers and philosophers took a stance on this revolution, all aware that it was not only a major event in national history, but also an entry into modern history. The aim of this book is to retrace the different positions taken by some of the best-known observers of the period: Marie d'Agoult, Balzac, Louis Blanc, Comte, Victor Cousin, Flaubert, Herzen, Lamartine, Marx, Michelet, Raspail and Lorenz von Stein. La revolución de 1848 en Francia marcó un punto de inflexión para los contemporáneos que la vivieron. Muchos de los autores que la posteridad consideraría grandes escritores y filósofos tomaron posición ante esta revolución, todos conscientes de que no sólo se trataba de un acontecimiento capital de la historia nacional, sino también de la entrada en la historia moderna. El objetivo de este libro es recorrer las diferentes posiciones adoptadas por algunos de los observadores más conocidos de la época: Marie d'Agoult, Balzac, Louis Blanc, Comte, Victor Cousin, Flaubert, Herzen, Lamartine, Marx, Michelet, Raspail y Lorenz von Stein. |
