| Summary, etc. | En politique tout particulièrement, parler, c’est déjà agir, ordonner la réalité, produire une vision du monde. Le domaine politique est aussi le théâtre d’échanges qui prennent, pour une large part, la forme de rapports de force. Ce faisant, le langage intéresse pour son efficacité propre, qui ne se réduit pas aux effets rhétoriques qu’il produit. La politique offre ainsi un champ d’étude particulièrement stimulant à qui veut comprendre comment le langage peut se voir doté de cette efficacité particulière qui lui permet, selon les cas, de conforter l’état des choses ou de changer le monde. S’inspirant en toile de fond des études séminales sur les actes de parole de J. L. Austin et des réflexions sur le pouvoir symbolique de P. Bourdieu, ce volume réunit des travaux pluridisciplinaires qui s’attachent à comprendre, dans leur diversité d’aspects, les effets que le langage peut avoir dans les rapports sociaux d’ordre politique. Especially in the political domain, to speak is to act, i.e. to produce a certain worldview and alter reality itself. Now the political domain is the scene of exchanges which are mostly power relationships. Therefore language is important because of its intrinsic efficiency, which does not reduce to rhetorical effects. |
