| Summary, etc. | La gestion du risque dans le sport est une question débattue, voire controversée. L’histoire récente met en évidence les enjeux auxquels sont confrontés les acteurs, pratiquants, dirigeants, organisateurs, juristes ou assureurs, tous ajustant au mieux leur position selon une jurisprudence qui ne cesse de faire évoluer la notion de responsabilité. Là où les éducateurs peuvent reconnaître dans la confrontation au risque une dynamique de formation, les assureurs et les juristes interpellent les dirigeants, les organisateurs et les sportifs sur les conséquences de leur conduite. Depuis les arrêtés Herzog de 1962 qui instaurent l’assurance sportive obligatoire, la question semble être demeurée circonscrite aux fédérations. Elle est loin d’être stabilisée dans le cas de pratiques libres ou de sports qui recherchent délibérément le risque. Les spécialistes de ces questions proposent ici une approche dialectique et interpellent du coup ces acteurs du sport qui redéfiniront, dans leur champ respectif, leur rapport à la responsabilité.
