| Summary, etc. | L'économie de la connaissance et de la créativité représente un enjeu majeur pour les villes européennes marquées par la révolution industrielle et les mutations du xxe siècle. Comment Lille Métropole, laboratoire du renouveau urbain, relève-t-elle ce défi ? De la bifurcation métropolitaine des années 1990 à la capitale européenne de la culture en 2004, toute une série de projets urbains ont métamorphosé l’agglomération lilloise. Comment transformer l’essai pour répondre aux nouvelles exigences d’une économie de la connaissance qui articule désormais innovation technologique, culture et créativité ? De nouveaux lieux (learning centres, FabLabs, friches artistiques...) favorisent la rencontre entre des milieux intellectuels et sociaux différents. De nouveaux liens se créent autour de projets artistiques, économiques ou universitaires. La métropole créative qui émerge de ces expériences parvient-elle à articuler les enjeux de compétitivité, du vivre ensemble et de l’équité territoriale ?
