| Summary, etc. | SENHORES DE SI é um estudo sobre o variedade das identidades masculinas, por um lado, e os efeitos da masculinidade hegemónica, por outro. Baseado em trabalho de campo numa aldeia Alentejana, na experiência de vida partilhada com os seus homens, apresenta uma etnografia em diálogo com teorias recentes das ciências sociais sobre “sexo e género”. Partindo da teoria crítica feminista, pretende suprir a ausência dos homens nos estudos do género e fornecer uma interpretação dos discursos e práticas da masculinidade, enquanto construção social e objecto de disputa pelo seu significado cultural. |
