Reinterpreting the political and social order is a way of condemning and rejecting the current system, but also to be inspired and claim historical precedents. This narrative construction of the revolution, by its actors and observers, during and after the event, is at the center of this book. With the example of French Revolution, and studies of Latin America (Brazil, Cuba) and Europe (Spain, Czechoslovakia, USSR), the book wonders about the rewriting of history that is frequently used to justify the revolution. | ||
